The Simple Solution (2 Easy Steps)

Step 1: Remove the Rubber Ring and Check Valve
Before installing the hose, look inside the quick connector.
Remove the rubber sealing ring
Remove the internal check valve
These parts are not needed during the hose connection process. Leaving them inside will block the hose and prevent proper insertion.
Tip: You can gently use your fingers or a small tool to take them out. Be careful not to damage the connector.
Step 2: Insert the Hose Firmly Until You Hear a “Click”
Once the inside of the connector is clear:
Align the water hose straight with the connector
Push the hose firmly and directly into the connector
Apply steady force until you hear or feel a “click” sound
That “click” means the hose is fully locked in place. If you do not hear the click, the hose is not fully connected and may leak or disconnect later.
